I left Fukuma bright and early at 6am. The sunrise from the station was beautiful and all but I hope to never see the world at this time of day again.

After three hours of hydrofoiling we arrived in Pusan Harbor.

If you wondered what random, everyday Pusan streets look like, I can confidently tell you they look like this...

...sometimes like this...

...and yes, every once in a while, they even look like this.

Town from the hill. I wish to heaven I knew wtf all those blue, plastic containers are about!

More rooftops and blue containers.

I noticed that on a majority of the rooftops there were covered jars that looked as though people were fermenting some kind of sauce as I know they sometimes do in Japan. Wasn't able to ask anyone about it though. :(

Hurrah, free laundry!

These kids were taking turns jumping off this patio ledge and just about dropped their teeth when saw me walking by. Guess they don't get to many paleskins around there.

This park was packed full of old guys playing a game that looked a lot like Go. There was a constant, soothing clickity-clack of marble chips being slapped down on the wooden game boards.

These guys don't mull over moves like in chess either. They were throwing down chips at light speed!
