So the number 4 is pronounced the same as the word for 'death' so it's considered to be unlucky. Thus there are no 4th floors anywhere. Sorry guys, just cause you don't call it the 4th floor, doesn't mean it ain't. -_-

I was not prepared for the visual non-sequitor that was seeing a Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits in Korea.

But... but... I have so much to live for!!

In the fine tradition of Cream Collon, Pusan brings you, Kolon Shopping!

Uhhhh... I'm not touching this one with a ten-foot pole. :O

I was flipping channels in my hotel when I came across a soccer game being announced in Korean. It took me almost 30 seconds before I realized I was watching a video game!! Being announced by real people!!

Turns out there's a channel almost exactly like ESPN except that they cover video games... like people playing video games... against each other... and these guys announce it like any other sporting broadcast...whoa!

Little game cabinets with early 90's arcade games seem to be in front of every local shop.

Yes, someone actually wrote "Dongbang" on the side of this building, apparently on purpose. Had I ever written "dongbang" on anything in elementary school, to say nothing about the side of a building, you better believe it would have involved a call to my parents.

And finally, I leave you with... the Coffee & Soda vending machine/payphone combo! This gives anything in Japan a run for it's money on the WTF factor. WHO...EVER would have thought to put these two things together?? I'm speechless.
