I'm not gonna sugar-coat this. My apartment here is ridiculously huge. I couldn't believe it when I first got dropped off and I still can't believe it 4 months later. Undoubtedly, one of my biggest hook ups from the JET program has come in the form of my dwelling, for which I only pay....get ready for this...about $200/month. For everyone who read that right, I know what you're thinking..... here's the link so you can find out how to sign up for JET. :P

The Entrance Where you take off your shoes....or die.	The Bedroom A.k.a. the Björk Shrine	The Spare Room Where the dead bodies go.

The Kitchen The metal counters are the coolest!!	My Hot Water Thingy I originally thought this was going to be useless, but now I don't want to imagine life without it.	My Refrigerator You can fit roughly two cans of soda and a sandwich in this thing.

Tatami Room Tatami's are what those straw mats the floor is made of are called. Very nice. I may be making this my bedroom come winter.	Tatami Room #2 There's even access to one of my two patios. Woo-hoo!!	Patio Not much of a view from the second floor, but I think I'll live.

Living Room This is the main feature of this apartment. This room is just huge, especially by Japan standards.	"Da Lounge" Behold my brand spanking new couch and the little relaxation cove that it creates. Mmmmmmm.	Lounge #2 The only thing missing is a GameCube. And that's only a matter of time. Bwahahahahahahah.

Computer Area This is where all my work gets brushed to the side and Caesar III takes the stage.	Random Bookshelf Space for more books than I'll ever read.	Patio #2 I mostly use this one for drying laundry.

Washroom The room where you...uh....wash....things....	Laundry Machine No dry function, much to my chagrin.	Water Closet A slight misnomer, since I've actually had closets larger than this.

Shower Japanese style shower and furo(bath). Soooo nice on the cold winter days, believe you me.	Outside Right outside my front door.	If all goes well, I'll see you next week with another rousing update!
